Did You Make That?

I bought this top and pair of shoes for fifth grade graduation! Yes, I actually graduated from fifth grade, and I even gave a speech. My clothes from seven years ago still fit since I haven’t grown, but my fifth grade grad outfit contained the only items I deem wearable today. I’m wearing a thrifted wrap top, a dress I made, a turtle necklace from the flea market, and shoes from Nordstrom. 

My calculus class was cancelled today so I checked out some books on sustainable agriculture and headed over to the park. Although I was a bit bummed that calculus was cancelled, I felt better after reading and gazing at the marina. I’m wearing a dress from the sale section of Urban Outfitters, a necklace from the flea market, and Clarks sandals. 

I spent the day at the flea market with my mom and dad. I’m running on four hours of sleep. I’m wearing an altered vintage lace dress, a pink jersey dress I made, a vintage necklace, an ASOS purse, and London Sole shoes.

When I was up visiting my university last month, I stumbled upon this pretty vintage dress and I knew it would be perfect for prom. It was cheap for a prom dress at $45! After purchasing the dress, we stepped into a shoe store two doors down and I found these shoes! It was a miracle! My vintage necklace pulled everything together and my petticoat gave my skirt some volume. Thank you to my mom for being my picture taking slave for the day!

Daniel and I tore up the dance floor last night at my senior prom. We were easily some of the most enthusiastic couples there. Neither of us actually go to high school so we don’t give a damn what people think of us. This attitude makes us great dancers. By the end of the dance a mixture of sweat and makeup was running down my face and my hairdo became undid, but I had such a great time.

I’m only wearing this outfit so I can stretch out the anticipation of wearing my prom dress. I effortlessly did my own hair and makeup. My strategy for making a prom up-do is looking at a bunch of snazzy 60’s hairstyles in books, then just throwing the shit up there with bobby pins. I’m not sure if it’s going to stay, but at least I saved money on getting my hair did! I’m wearing all second hand clothes.

I just found some old new old shoes in my house!

I believe I can pull off wearing lingerie in public if it’s as unsexy as this sheer thing I’m wearing. I don’t even know what this is called. Is it a robe? Anyway it’s pretty ugly and it makes this outfit. The ugly pretty robe thing was thrifted which is not gross at all. I advocate purchasing conservative lingerie that’s so dorky that it’s highly unlikely anyone had sex while wearing it. Just don’t buy used underwear; that’s gross. I made my dress and my shoes are thrifted. 

I wore this blouse only a few weeks ago, but today I made if more Springy by pairing it with a pink skirt and pink earrings. My blouse is thrifted, I made my skirt, and my earrings are from Pretty Parlor.
